The story began forty years ago when the Marciano brothers fell in love with Los Angeles during a vacation and decided to make it their new home, leaving their hometown in the south of France. They chose an icon for their key product: a pair of ankle-length, stonewashed, three-zip skinny jeans called Marylin. Then came the advertising. The idea was entirely the brainchild of Paul, the youngest of the Marciano brothers, who was clear from the start about the glamorous world of GUESS. The campaigns captured the charm of old Hollywood, but with the faces of absolutely contemporary young women who defined the provocative spirit of the brand.

Pioneers of a global lifestyle

Since then, the group has grown from a denim pioneer to a global lifestyle brand. Today GUESS offers collections for men, women, and children, as well as a wide range of accessories and a collection of sensual and vibrant perfumes as Bella Vita, a tribute to all women who love themselves and believe in the power of femininity, and a make-up collection formulated without parabens, vegan, cruelty free and with packaging made from recycled paper that celebrates the charm of the GUESS woman’s personality.
